DOJ Honors to Biglaw/Boutique: what’s the ideal timeline?
As someone who is headed to Honors in the fall (DOJ, litigating component)—trying to figure out what my trajectory would look like if I want to go into private practice eventually. I’m coming out of an A3 clerkship but obviously haven’t worked at a firm outside of my 2L summer. Ideally I’ll like government enough to do it until I might qualify as counsel (or forever!), but if I don’t, what are my options? And, how do I maximize my marketability as a lateral from main justice?
