Las Vegas lit?

Post by Anonymous User » Sun May 12, 2024 8:22 pm

Does anyone here have insight to the Las Vegas market for commercial litigators? I have to move there for personal reasons and would like to know where to start with my applications. I’m coming from a generic biglaw CCL group in LA and I was a federal clerk before that.

Seems like there are a few traditional biglaw firms like greenberg traurig, akerman, fox rothschild, and ballard spahr. But also some regional players like mcdonald carano, snell and wilmer, and hutchinson & steffan.

Nobody seems to be particularly elitist with hiring credentials but it’s very hard to find compensation or reputational info online. I’d rather not ask around at my current firm since they don’t know I’m planning to leave.

Ideally I’d get a few offers and compare but I’d also like to know where to begin with apps.
