Quinn layoffs. Just heard on Fishbowl that Quinn did layoffs alongside K&L. Can we confirm?

OP here. It was on Fishbowl. Some guy was talking about layoffs. Mentioned K&L or whatever, then someone else chipped in that "Quinn" also had conducted these.

Doesn't Quinn routinely cull its ranks of poor performers? I thought I had heard that somewhere, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Oh- maybe. I hope so. I’m at QE and there are quite a few juniors I’d love to see culled…

But performance-based cuts aren’t what I’d typically call “layoffs.” Layoffs to me imply a firm that is financially troubled.

I don't know about "routinely" but I am aware of very poor performers in my office (consistently billing under 50 hours a month with many complaints about poor work quality) being asked to leave. These separations are pretty uncommon, in my experience, and the last one in my office happened over a year ago.
