Bad time to make a lateral move?
Really hate my current v10 firm. And I'm not getting bonus anyways (doubt if anyone in my group would). I'm thinking about making a move before the bonus announcement, but the market is still slow and it seems not many firms are actively hiring. Should I wait until early next year? It is expected that economy will get better then but there will be more people seeking lateral after they get their bonuses. Any advice is appreciated.

The best time to lateral is when the right opportunity comes up. Don't change just to change or you could end up in an even worse situation.
