Thoughts & Reputation of STB’s RE Group?
Interested in M&A and finance and think real estate is an interesting subject matter. Have taken some RE / REIT courses and a wondering what Simpson’s group’s rep is. Anecdotally I’ve heard it’s one of the better corporate RE groups out there. Personally not really interested in general RE (more construction, leases, etc) as opposed to M&A style real estate deals if that makes sense.

STB is counsel to Blackstone's BREIT fund family. They are pretty good REIT lawyers.

Simpson has a strong transactional real estate group.
