Let's get the thread going for the entry-level Big Fed hiring
This thread is for updates on the Honors Attorney and Law Clerk applications for the 2023-2024 cycle. The DOJ one usually has a separate thread, but I guess updates on here wouldn't be an issue.

Anyone heard back from the FTC post callback? Based on patterns I saw from previous years and the fact they stop accepting apps this weekend, decisions might be coming next week.
I did my FTC Honors screener on Thursday, August 3 (School OCI) got the callback interview request less than two business days later on Monday August 7. Did 2.5 hours of interviews on August 17. Mostly questions about my resume and experiences, one guy got really interested in some of my research and we got into some high level discussion about the admin and con law.
Tried to ask about a timeline and got a reply that Donna Downing the recruiter managing the process just retired

Need to vent about how frustrating it's to see that they screen 15+ people for 1 position in these agencies...
