H1B relocation - Davis Polk vs. S&C? NY corporate

Any insights on how these firms handled relocation last year for international associates who did not get H1B?

Cannot find much on DPW’s relocation policy.

Can someone confirm this, lol? Based on my own research, it seems that historically DPW always relocated everyone. And not doing so a few years ago (when the market was good), doesn’t make sense even logically.

Trying to see if this is like one of those TLS trolls.

DPW generally relocates, mostly to London or HK if you have the language skills.

It is my general understanding that S&C is more accommodating for H1B relocation than DPW. Heard that S&C is relocating this year but DPW is not.

S&C relocated, but while normally associates go to London, this year some were sent to Australia instead because of a lack of need in the London office.

DPW relocated this year, mostly to London and Hong Kong, some of them had to keep working with the NY office from overseas despite the time difference, but bottom line is the option to relocate was offered (and I think to everyone)
