Jones Day San Diego
Does anybody have insights on Jones Day San Diego? I've applied to other firms in SD, but Jones Day is the only place I have yet to get good intel on.

I can't think of anything better than Jones Day SD. Plenty of work as GOP controls SCOTUS, HOR, Senate, and Pres. You're in a GOP city. On the right side of history. Cashing in on the woke-lash. The glory of the Cabrillo National Monument. This multi-billion dollar real estate, a graveyard, dedicated to fallen soldiers, with jaw-dropping views on both sides. You will have tears streaming down your cheeks as you enter. And don't forget Filippi's India Street a 5 min walk from downtown. And tennis in Coronado on Saturday morning. And no subway pushings that you'll get in NYC!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 10:00 pmDoes anybody have insights on Jones Day San Diego? The joke is that Jones Day = right-wing = bad. Isn’t that hilarious?! Don’t let the reality that every measure of firmwide political affiliation shows the opposite stop you from letting out a hearty chuckle!

Jones Day SD is in the Golden Triangle/UTC, which is nowhere close to Filippi’s, the Cabrillo monument, or Coronado. (I know this because I grew up in University City.) If you want to work in an office park across the street from a shopping mall and sit in an office with a scenic view of the 805, Jones Day SD just might be for you.Belli wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 12:51 pmI can't think of anything better than Jones Day SD. ETA: San Diego is a purple city with a strong military presence. It’s not some deep red Republican paradise by any means.

100% correct. Since 2008 San Diego has leaned Democrat. That will soon end. I do think it will be deep red in the next cycle. I actually never said JD SD was a short walk from Filippi's India Street or Cabrillo National Monument or Coronado Island. It's all within 5 miles, as well as LaJolla Cove and the top Crim Law firm, Kerry Armstrong.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 8:55 amJones Day SD is in the Golden Triangle/UTC, which is nowhere close to Filippi’s, the Cabrillo monument, or Coronado.
