Less Selective Texas Firms
I’ve found lots of good info on NYC firms with less selective GPA requirements, but haven’t found as much for the Texas market. Any insights would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Less Selective Texas Firms
It would mostly be the smaller/more local firms. Think firms like Gardere, Jackson Walker, Locke Lord, Porter Hedges.taylor2223 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:33 pmI’ve found lots of good info on NYC firms with less selective GPA requirements, but haven’t found as much for the Texas market. Keep in mind that from a strategic standpoint your best strategy may depend on where you go to school. A middling U of H student is in a different spot from a lower in the class T14 student. Those firms will still have a pretty firm grade cutoff for local schools (including UT), but may not as much for the T14. Ties may be more important in the latter case.
