Game plan for lateraling as a corporate second-year?
Is there a target practice group/region that will make this transition less difficult? Will the target New York / General Corporate rule from OCI hold true again? I am currently at big law and have okay stats (nonT14, 30%). I really don't care about the practice area so long as I can lateral to a different firm.

NY will be easier because it's just so much bigger. But your stats and such take backseat to your experience now. Be prepared to talk about your experience and why you're looking for a change.
