Anon because I'm providing details about where I'll work.
I'm a 2L and I'll be working at Quinn LA this summer. I'm figuring out how much I want to commit myself to next year as far as my journal and I remember hearing that 3Ls can sometimes work part time at their firms. I'd rather take a backseat role on my not-very-prestigious journal and make some money than spend all my time on a board position.
Anyone have insight into whether working part-time is common or at least possible?

My understanding was the work during 3L thing was just last year because firms desperately needed bodies. Unsure though.

I work at QE and as far as I’m aware we don’t hire 3Ls to work for us during the school year.
