If you’re asking because you want to avoid grinding long hours, then that place definitely isn’t for you. It’s Chambers Band 1, with a similarly ranked M&A practice, so expect it to be as demanding as it can be in that space.

Yeah, was hoping for numbers (I’m a midlevel shopping around). Coming from a firm where hours were usually 2250, give or take 250.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 7:31 pmIf you’re asking because you want to avoid grinding long hours, then that place definitely isn’t for you. Edit: Gave a snarky response assuming you were a law student. I take it back.

Oh, no—just trying to figure out if STB would be an improvement on my QOL or not.existentialcrisis wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 8:47 pmEdit: Gave a snarky response assuming you were a law student. I take it back.

I don't think there's anywhere with higher hours than that, except maybe Wachtell. Depending on your luck in a given year, though, it might not be lower.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 8:45 pmYeah, was hoping for numbers (I’m a midlevel shopping around). Are you bank side? Cahill mid-level in a normal year would be 2300-2700 (for promotion track associates). LW would be roughly the same. Would imagine it’d be similar at STB and the other band 1s.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 11:24 pmI don't think there's anywhere with higher hours than that, except maybe Wachtell.
