Projects vs M&A vs ?
Ok, I need to pick a practice area, and I could use some help. I’d like a transactional side practice area that has more predictability, kinda like lit. I heard from a global projects associate that his group rarely has unexpected work or weekend work because projects are more long term undertakings and are better planned out than typical corporate deals. Idk if that was just the firm he’s at, though, or something true of this practice area in general. Also, what about other options on the transactional side that fit this bill better than others?

Idk, I wasn't transactional but I felt like tax folks had predictable hours and good WLB.
