For finance. Cadwalader seems pretty tame these days, not sure about FF. Opinions?

My info is very dated, but CWT had such a bad rep when I was in law school that I don't think I could bring myself to go there.

I did 1 case with them about 7 years ago and CWT ran through at least 6 associates during the case. I, of course, have no idea why they left. But I assumed it was because CWT is a dumpster fire.

CWT screwed their associates over during the start of COVID. The conclusion isn't stale--it's just further reinforced. With how badly and how quickly they screwed their associates, I would not want to be there during another downturn

Just chiming in to agree with the above. I have worked with a few of their finance associates (I am in a different corporate practice at FF) and enjoyed my experience.

A Cad summer told me a partner emailed her with work at 2am on a weekend because they wanted her to taste "the true associate work experience", which to be honest sounds incredibly TTT.

Adding Simpson Thacher to the mix. Does that change things?

This makes it no contest. Go to STB. The only exception might be if you wanted to do Real Estate (in which case FF would at least compete).

Agree with the above. You have to go STB it is a cut above the other two options.
