Swiping right on the mid level
Incoming 1st year, would it be so bad to potentially match on hinge with a super hot mid level at my firm?

No. The mid-level is the one incurring risk from potentially dating you.

Have fun while it lasts. At some point the algorithm figures you out and you end up matching with tons of lawyers and it becomes apparent how boring and interchangeable we are.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 2:02 pmMight have to shoot my shot then, thanksAnonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 1:31 pmNo. The mid-level is the one incurring risk from potentially dating you.

Re: Swiping right on the mid level
People meet, date, fuck, break up, marry, have affairs etc. within law firms all the time, both with people on their level and junior / senior to them. It's human nature and a byproduct of being in close proximity to each other. Having said that, I know many wise people who've followed the rule "don't shit where you eat" to great success and it's a rule I've followed myself. Starting a relationship or even just a hook up inside the firm has the potential to go wrong in all sorts of spectacular ways and it never seemed worth the risk to me, especially if you're in a big city (which we presumably all are) and there are plenty of options out there beyond the walls of the firm.

Well he/she said the mid level was "super hot". So, might be worth it? YOLO.
