Trying to lateral, safe to assume...

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Aug 02, 2022 3:17 pm

I started sending out lateral applications near the beginning of July. Looking for a little reassurance, is it safe to assume that most big firms are caught up in end of summer program and beginning of OCI season to focus too much on lateral hiring?

I think the city and practice group you're in (or trying to lateral to) affects timing. I think East Coast moves faster than other areas and litigation tends to move slower than other practices.
