Looking to lateral. If you want to use a recruiter, do you share your resume with them first before speaking to them?
I tried to discuss first but recruiters (at least the large firms) refuse to talk at all without a resume/profile.
Not expecting to know who the employer is but I want to at least have some idea of what the open positions are about/looking for before I share my identity/resume. Am I being too restricting?
Any advice on how to approach recruiters would be appreciated.

Re: Would you share Resume first with Recruiters?
In my previous experience with recruiters, there’s usually a little “get to know you chat” before you send your resume or any materials to them, during which they usually tell you SOMETHING about the positions they’re working to fill.
