Oregon Bar Reciprocity

Post by eudaemonia » Sun Jul 10, 2022 9:42 pm

Hi all, looking for somebody who has experienced with the Oregon bar. I know Oregon recently expanded their bar waiver policy to allow people to practice who are admitted to a jurisdiction with reciprocity even if the applicant hasn’t taken the bar in that jurisdiction. Since DC has reciprocity with Oregon, and DC allows anybody to be admitted as long as they’ve passed any bar, would this mean that someone who passed the bar in California could simply get admitted in DC and then get admitted to Oregon based on the DC admission? This may just be an unexplored question, but I’m curious if anybody has any experience with this.
