Healthcare Start Date
This is probably a totally naive question, but does healthcare coverage begin on the first day of work at a biglaw firm?

Re: Healthcare Start Date
It likely depends on the firm - some firms do first of the month following date of hire, some the first day of work, others the first of the month following 30 days of work, etc.

Definitely varies. I was surprised to find out that ours begins June 1st for incoming first years. I didn’t have a coverage gap following graduation.
