Antitrust from NOT DC/NY/SF?

I'm a junior lit associate at a one-office firm that pays market and competes for talent with BigLaw firms HQ'd here (think Chi/TX/Bos). I'm really interested in antitrust, but I'm geographically constrained and can't hop to DC/NY/SF anytime soon. Would my best bet be to hop to a multi-office firm with a robust antitrust practice? Thoughts generally on geographically pronounced practice areas from satellites would be much appreciated!

All of the example states/cities that you flagged have a chambers and partners page for antitrust. I would look at that for which firms in those areas do antitrust.

Not sure what your second question is asking, but I think two reasonable routes would be: (1) on the obvious end, look at Chambers in your city and see which firms have a good antitrust group (there are solid groups at certain firms in most cities), and (2) target a firm in your market who has a strong AT group even if they don’t have an AT presence at the office you’re applying to. It’s not uncommon to work with partners from different office, but just make sure you make your interest in AT known during the hiring process.
