The only things the selectivity list gets right are: (1) WLRK at the top, and (2) K&E at the absolute bottomAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 2:02 pmCan someone please tell me WTF is going on with this list? https://firsthand.co/best-companies-to- ... electivityAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 12:35 pmNY rankings are out now (along with other updated rankings for regions, practice area, best to work for, etc.)Moneytrees wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 12:54 pmApologies if this was already covered, but did Vault eliminate the "New York" firm rankings?

I'm all for shitting on K&E, but McDermott blowing them out of the water? Like what? If I were at Vault I'd stop publishing this list it's so embarrassing.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 3:09 pmThe only things the selectivity list gets right are: (1) WLRK at the top, and (2) K&E at the absolute bottomAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 2:02 pmCan someone please tell me WTF is going on with this list? https://firsthand.co/best-companies-to- ... electivityAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 12:35 pmNY rankings are out now (along with other updated rankings for regions, practice area, best to work for, etc.)Moneytrees wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 12:54 pmApologies if this was already covered, but did Vault eliminate the "New York" firm rankings?

McDonald's is #1/#2 in nearly all the categories. Interesting, totally nothing clearly off about that at all, right FirstHand?

#1 for transparency in that they transparently cooked the books.
#1 for associate/partner relations in that partners force associates to lie on surveys.
#1 for quality of work in that they rank themselves #1 for everything.
Maybe Vault should have spent more time looking at their methods and for abuse and less time rebranding into whatever First Hand is. Epic fail.

Why are Kirkland and Skadden on the Midwest ranking? Did I miss something, or did they make an obvious mistake?

How much do you think McDermott's recruiting department had to pay to get the top spot in all these random unquantifiable secondary categories?

Yes, duh—Chicago firms are generally not listed on the Midwest ranking—it’s really a Midwest-minus-Chicago ranking, which is why it’s so weirdAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 8:40 pmKirkland is a Chicago firm....Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 7:45 pmWhy are Kirkland and Skadden on the Midwest ranking?
