If firms don’t give you an interview for Pre-oci, is there even a point bidding on them for oci?

SLS doesn't even have all our grades back, so it hasn't really even started for us.

When was your callback? Mine was late last week and still haven't heard back...

RE: whether to bid on a firm that ignored your pre-OCI application -- per my career services office, definitely! The only bar is if you strike out after interviewing with them.

Or if they explicitly decide not to interview you. If you just hear nothing you should bid on them again for OCI (if you really want them).

Had screener today (Friday) afternoon - would they be giving out callback invites over the weekend or would they wait until Monday/Tuesday?

re timelines, things will move fast if they want you. I wouldn’t stress too much about application —> screener/cb as sometimes schedules just don’t work or applications slip through the cracks for a week, but everything after that should typically be <1 week turnaround. This is my experience in NY specifically.

STB, for example, is typically cb—> offer within a week. anything longer than a week you’re being effectively waitlisted. again though, this was NY - I did pre-oci in a smaller market and waited a month between screener and cb

Anybody know how the STB DC pre-oci process goes? I had a 20 minute interview with them, so I don't think that was a callback

Probably a screener. May I ask when did it happen?

Also had an STB DC screener. Mine happened Wednesday. Any word on a CB?
