I was in a similar situation and went with the group that I thought I would click better with. I think you never can really know which place is a "better" fit unless you can actually work at both places. We're all just approximating based on a brief interview.
The money is going to be tough in the short term, but if you're considering this to be a long term move, go with the choice you think will set you up best for the future and developing your own skills/practice.

Go to the firm which offers the better training since you are switching practice areas.
