CLE credit for bar study in new state

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Apr 30, 2022 10:14 pm

NY license and moving to a state that doesn’t offer reciprocity. My new firm has offered to pay for the costs of bar prep (including one of the full review courses, like Barbri).

Does anyone know if it would be possible to get NY CLE credit based on how much of a bar review course I complete? Checking NY’s FAQs on CLE credits, I know that you can get credit for completing courses at ABA approved law schools, but didn’t see anything regarding bar review courses (not that I was expecting to). Before committing to a bar review course, I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this, and if it would be possible for me to get some extra CLE credit for going through the bar prep process again.
