Curious about people's experiences here.
Lateraling to new firm and offered a signing bonus that will be paid "within my first 30 days" according to my offer letter.
When do most people actually get it? In your first paycheck or does it take two cycles of checks to work through?
Just trying to financially plan it out.

Lateralled in 2020, I got mine on the first paycheck.
The more important thing is the clawback period, if any. I left not long after the clawback period, but if it's 2-3 years, there's a good chance you'll lose some of your signing bonus.
