How many hours billed after resigning from firm?
For those who have recently lateraled from a firm (big, mid or small), how many hours did you end up billing daily/weekly until your last day?

5-6, but the days were still brutally long with a bunch of non-billable transition work.

I billed 1 total hour my last two weeks. It was glorious.

I had a deal closing 3 days before i left so i was working normal hours and doing transition. It sucked and im a sucker since i received no benefit.

Two hours my last two weeks. Went skiing several days and just monitored my email every half hour or so.

Maybe 30, though ~10 of those were the Friday and Saturday before my last day (which was a Wednesday). Client was disorganized/stupid/brought us in at the last minuet on a doc they wanted (needed) signed by Monday AM and didn't want to burn the partner who is a friend and was killed on another, much more important deal.
Stopped responding to their (clients) emails after they ignored my input for the third time and tried to toss another, wholly unrelated issue over to us on Saturday night...
TL:DR, I worked too much, and when you are in-house, don't suck and be an asshole to your outside counsel.
