Retroactive NY CLE Extension

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Mar 16, 2022 10:32 pm

I misread the New York CLE requirements for newly admitted attorneys. As a result, I completed zero CLE credits during my first year after admission (I thought I simply had to complete 32 credits within 2 years; did not realize 16 of those credits had to be completed during the first year). The deadline to complete my first 16 credits passed almost 8 months ago. I will still be able to complete 32 credits within my first two years, but clearly I am *way* past the deadline as to the first year.

What should I do? And what awful misfortune should I expect to befall me?
