Yes last Friday and received offer on Tuesday

Congratulations on your FSO offer! That's a pretty quick turnaround. Did they call you first or directly email you?

Can you tell me what's the base and bonus? Did you end up accepting what they gave you initially or you negotiated?

Let's revive this post! I received callbacks at DLA Piper and Holland & Knight (both recently completed). I also received a callback from Frost Brown Todd, but declined. I did not bid for any Big 4, given I have already worked there in the past (Deloitte and EY to be precise). I'm currently Tax Counsel at a large tech company in Silicon Valley, but hoping one of those two callbacks turn into an offer, as I have been considering shifting to Big Law. If not, that's ok, I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I got dinged from Paul Hastings on March 2nd or 3rd. The interviewer said he was impressed with my background, so was a bummer, but I guess just not meant to be.

Interesting....when did you do the callback with them? You are right, the only position they were recruiting for at TIP was DC with the partner of the tax group there.

I would say at this point, there is almost no chance of still receiving a law firm offer from TIP. Likely those went out third or fourth week of March.
