Incoming 2L SA - should I start networking with associates at the firm prior to summer?
Wondering if it makes sense to start to get to know different practice groups under corporate or if associates will just find me annoying

I wouldn't mind if you wanna say hi or have anything you actually want to ask. But networking is a bit try hard, you already have the job. That's what the summer is for.

I wouldn’t, there is no need to and people are busy. You will have plenty of time to do it as a summer. They will encourage you to prioritize making those network connections almost as much as the work you’re assigned, if not more.
