Wait hold on, is the ATL reporting accurate that SullCrom has not matched Cravath? Cravath announced 2/28; what's the delay about?
That’s not correct, SullCrom matched sometime in late March. Extremely delayed though (weeks after many V50s, let alone V10s and V5s), no excuses there.

LOL why do we even need legacy status to Harvard College? HLS has more prestige than all the other Harvard schools combined. You see Harvard undergrads regret not going to HLS. How often do you see HLS students regret not going to Harvard undergrad? We go on and become CEOs, entrepreneurs, senators, supreme courts justices, and presidents. Every corner of the world has been and continues to be shaped by HLS students. Students from other law schools (or schools in general) work for the political/business empires HLS students build and own.
The vast majority of the HLS student body is state school liberal arts majors who did well on a standardized test that allows infinite tries. These students had no chance of going to an ivy for undergrad, let alone Harvard. Had no softs to be accepted at YS. That's your HLS student body.

Only 2 presidents had HLS degrees, and the one before Obama took office in 1877. So no HLS don't go on and become presidents.

Before you even attempt to compare HLS to Harvard College, just ask yourself how many HLS students would have been able to study law at Harvard if it was an undergrad major offered by Harvard College instead of a grad degree from HLS. HLS can offer a good legal education at a hefty price. Chances are you will land a biglaw gig and impress your hometown friends and relatives. But to actually think going to HLS has equivalent prestige to YLS or a top undergrad is just delusional.
But on the other hand, UCHICAGO LAW = YLS = harvard/stanford UG. Everyone here will agree with that, so hope you don't lose sleep over it
Two non-YS law schools eating each other.
