I'm trying to figure out if I'm wasting my time applying to federal jobs, or if there are some that may be more within my reach than others. I got an interview for the DOL Honors Program but was not selected. I've applied to numerous federal jobs but haven't been getting interviews (not sure where I am in each process).
-I am currently serving a two-year term as a law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy, District of South Carolina.
-Prior to that, I did a legal internship at the DOJ, Office of US Trustees and worked for a year at the SC Senate Judiciary Committee during law school.
-I went to Columbia U for undergrad and UofSC Law (cum laude).
What federal jobs, if any, are realistic for me? Forum
