Hi all. Lit junior in v100 looking to retool from litigation to corporate M&A, as I vastly enjoy working on building up contracts more than litigating over them. Have started educating myself on the subject matter through CLEs and webinars. I would appreciate any tips to help market myself to firms as a fast learner with a genuine passion for transactional work (and transferable soft skills-lots of direct client contact from previous legal jobs, etc.) through my resume and cover letter materials. Big question is what can I say about myself that will persuade a firm to take a chance on me?
Thanks so much!
