Hi all. I am a second year associate at a major market v100 office. I am currently in lit, but want to switch into an M&A corporate practice (not going into this blind, had exposure to M&A and like it a lot better).
The goal is to start applying in Jan 2022 (don't want to miss this hot market boat). I already plan to start immersing myself in M&A CLEs and webinars in the meantime. Would appreciate any tips for buffing up the resume/cover letter to make myself more marketable, or suggestions about where to apply (any firms willing to train a fast learning retool?). Thanks in advance!
