Culture and Pay at Foley & Lardner?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Nov 12, 2021 8:44 pm

Considering a role at Foley and am interested in hearing about the culture and pay for mid-levels and seniors. I know that culture is sure to vary by office, but saying which office I'm considering would dox me; so, for the purposes of this post, I'd be happy to hear about any office.

Litigation, specifically.

Heard it can be cutthroat. Have heard specifically of lit associates getting pushed out frequently. From what I understand, pay is compressed for mids/seniors.

Are you willing to share which office, or info about where mid level and senior pay is at now?

Central Florida

Raises will be below market across the board. It’s blackbox for mids and seniors so they’ll pay you as little as they can get away with. Have also heard a couple stories about bonus disputes from FL and WI, which sound a bit disheartening. Obviously that’s all hearsay though.
