I'm a 2L with a V20 SA position for next summer. I went into OCI thinking I wanted to do transactional work, but after a bad externship experience this semester, I realized I would be more interested/fulfilled in litigation. I love doing legal research and crafting arguments, not reading and redlining contracts. Because I'm not on moot court, am I at a disadvantage for the summer/my career as a whole?
If you were in a similar position weighing litigation/transactional work, do you have any advice? Thank you!
