I'm lateraling to a different firm as a second year, and I'm really excited! I'm currently waiting on conflicts and do not plan to give notice until conflicts clears. However, does anyone have any tips or dos and don'ts they'd like to share about lateraling? Is there anything you did that you are glad you did? Anything you wish you would have done?
I don't know anyone personally yet who has lateraled since I'm quite junior, so I don't know who to ask.

Don't burn your bridge if you have a good relationship. The new firm may not be what you expect. (Hopefully it is, but no guarantees)
