PW corporate hours
Just read on another forum that PW corporate associates bill 1600-1900 hours? Post said that even this year the average corporate associate isn’t billing over 2000. Anyone know if this is true? Would definitely consider looking into PW if so (no hours minimum and reasonable hours).

PW first-year here and from what I’ve seen, that’s absolutely not true. My understanding is that all of the corporate groups are swamped. There are like 2-3 new corporate laterals a week.

Re: PW corporate hours
It could be that the firm claims that the average corp associate is billing 1800 or whatever, but I believe firms usually include associates who only worked a partial year, took maternity leave, etc. in that figure to drag it down. No PW corp associate is working the whole year and billing 1,600. I doubt there are many corp associates at major firms under 2,000 pace right now (and many are pacing far above that).
