Part-time CPT during school year Forum

Hey all, does your school allow international students to work with a part-time CPT during the school year? I am at CLS and it does not. I am looking for how it works at other schools. Thanks so much!

I am at Duke and it seems like the answer is also no.

I think I did CPT in my final semester, when working for a judge. But I might be misremembering.

In anyway, I would just be careful that you don't accidentally end up using some of your OPT time. I think in certain situations using CPT time can affect OPT.

I worked for an inhouse legal role during 2l, it was fine. Sometimes it's a matter of school policy rather than immigration rule.

You could probably just mass email a bunch of law schools if you're trying to do a survey or something.
