Is there a significant difference between working at a nonv10's HQ office vs. v10 satellite office?
I like both locations so the v10 prestige is outweighing the HQ factor. What are the pros and cons of being at the HQ v. satellite?

Let me guess… STB LA vs. MOFO SF
You obviously want to go to STB LA so just do it. You’ll be working for the same high caliber clients you’d be working for in their NY office. No one cares about Vault regional rankings. The small office environment isn’t for everyone. If you don’t like it, it will be easier to lateral to another LA firm when you’re already in LA.
That said, you will most likely be doing funds work at STB LA. If you have your heart set on a different practice area, go to MoFo.

You should try to put into words exactly what you think "v10 prestige" is and why it matters to you.
Also, your question is vague and unclear. First, "non v10" is a basically worthless descriptor. Second, it's not clear what you mean by "locations" - are these offices in different cities?
