WFH & Legal Recruiters
My goal is to have a fully remote position. There seem to be maybe 10 firms that are seriously offering permanent WFH. Aside from applying to these firms directly, does anyone have any thoughts about or has anyone had any luck with using legal recruiters to find permanent WFH?

The ones I have talked with have all said that it’s largely only available for corporate associates (I’m lit). But they’ve pounced to send me every single lit one that has come up (mainly mid-law), largely for firms that are a 0% match

Don't use recruiters. You've already done the leg work identifying which firms offer full remote. Don't screw up your application/give the recruiting firm a windfall for nothing. Speaking from experience (they actively screwed my application, provided no value add, I essentially did everything on my own after realizing they shat the bed, and they got a cool several ten grand for doing absolutely nothing)

Which firms? How did you identify them?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 11:01 pmMy goal is to have a fully remote position. Agree with this, I also regret using a recruiter. If you've chosen firms to apply to, just email partners directly. Be wary of even having a discussion with a recruiter about any of those firms, as they may then claim to represent you and demand a fee even if you contact the firm directly.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 2:16 pmDon't use recruiters.
