Listing firm experience on resume before having done anything substantive

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Sep 10, 2021 2:48 pm

I just started at a firm as a litigation associate and am interested in applying for some future PI fellowships (over a year out) that close soon. I want to list my firm on my resume and cover letter but do not know how to approach the fact that I just started and have really done any legal work yet. Should I leave the description on my resume blank. Do I word it in the future tense? Would it look weird to be applying this early in my firm role?
