Yeah this is the only answer, OP figure out NYC vs Chicago and it’s a no-brainer from there. Career-wise you’ll be fine from either firm.

Have to agree with the above posters. Both KE/STB are fantastic PE/M&A shops, pick the market you'd prefer to live in for the next 2-3 years.

This is an easy one as others have said. If you want to build a career in Chicago, go to Kirkland. If you want the same in NYC, go to STB. There is no reason whatsoever to consider the other three.

Same as the others have said, except just go to KE, because Chicago> NYC
