One of the above firms has given me an offer to join as a corp associate, but I still have some interest in trying lit. (Unlike some other firms I've interviewed with it sounds like these firms expect you to take on work in your declared department for the summer). Does anyone have experience as a summer or know if you can switch either before, during, or at the end between the two? Or does the firm just expect you to come back after 3L in the same department they hired you for?
Would also appreciate insights on which of these two firms is stronger in lit (or in corp) or has the better office culture in SF. Thanks!
