Lateral--Include Cover Letter when not requested?

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Aug 17, 2021 10:48 pm

Is it customary to include a cover letter even when the application requests resume, transcript and deal sheet? I don't want to stray from the instructions, but at the same time, don't want to leave it off if it is an unspoken rule. Thanks

Don't do a cover letter unless it's requested; they're usually a waste of time. If there's something particular you want to convey you should do it through a friend at the firm or a recruiter.
