Wilson Sonsini has some attraction because I could try out transactional work before ultimately making a choice.
Milbank has a few phenominal patent lit partners who lateralled from Irell, and of the three locations I have a slight preference for Los Angeles (super slight).
Latham is Latham, and has a pretty strong patent lit practice as well.
Any thoughts?

Lol where do you want to live?
SV has more tech lit, whereas SD has more life science lit. LA is more exposed to entertainment law.
Latham and Wilson Sonsini do defense work, whereas Milbank/Irell does plaintiff's work (not NPE, but contingency/litigation funding cases).
