I recently interviewed at a firm I'm very interested in and would accept an offer if given. I made it clear that I had another offer that was going to expire at the end of the week, and the firm said it would do its best to expedite the process. I didn't hear back from the firm before the deadline I gave them for my expiring offer.
Should I assume the firm dinged me? Should I reiterate my interest in this situation?

Re: Other Offer Deadline
You can always call recruiting and see if a response will be forthcoming. Sometimes the right people aren't available to make a decision in time. Did you just accept the expiring offer?

Re: Other Offer Deadline
If you don't get a response after that, it's safe to say it's a rejection, right?

I don't know if firms ghost people these days. Traditionally, you'd always get a rejection eventually.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 1:58 pmIf you don't get a response after that, it's safe to say it's a rejection, right?
