Help me decide: V&E or K&S Houston

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Aug 15, 2021 1:39 pm

Came to law school with an interest in healthcare/life sciences and have a STEM background with relevant healthcare experience. K&S has one of the strongest teams and have a full healthcare practice in Houston (transactions + lit + reg) and seems to have a broad base of institutional clients in the Texas Medical Center.

However, I'm afraid of possibly pigeonholing myself because I don't have enough experience in health law to confidently say I want to spend my whole career doing health law. I am leaning towards a corporate practice and V&E Houston seems very hard to pass up in that regard, but they don't do healthcare work at all at this point. I'm looking to have the best training possible and have as many exit options and am committed to living in Houston. Could use some help, thanks in advance!
