Did GT NYC office match the salary increase?
Can someone familiar with the matter or current associates confirm if the NYC office matched the salary increase? What's the base salary for the first-year associates? Also, how do their perks and benefits compare to other NYC firms (tech budget, etc)? I know they are super cheap but I heard comps and benefits differ by offices

How does GT (at least in your office or other major markets) compare to other firms when it comes to perks (gym subsidies, tech budgets, etc)?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 10:59 amAnon as I am at GT but in my office it matched years 1-3 (including w/ bonus) then is black box. We have a really nice gym attached to our building that we can use for free so I haven’t looked into a gym subsidy, can do a roth 401k which is very nice, parking is paid and they will charge your car for free if you have ev. tech budget is annoying (I think it’s like installments of $75 or something stupid?) but they will probably work with you if you ask and/or just expense it. If you operate under the ask for forgiveness not permission mantra you’re usually ok at GT on that stuff. The black box nature can be quite frustrating but in major offices base will typically track market base (at least in corporate and real estate) and then bonuses are far more black box and that is when you may see compression.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 1:22 pmHow does GT (at least in your office or other major markets) compare to other firms when it comes to perks (gym subsidies, tech budgets, etc)?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 10:59 amAnon as I am at GT but in my office it matched years 1-3 (including w/ bonus) then is black box.
