L&E in NYC
I want to practice L&E for a number of reasons (human element, variety of cases, good exit opps) and ideally in NYC. Curious to hear a little more about the different players in the market there. I know Proskauer is top dog and Morgan Lewis is a solid second. That being said, are the prominent biglaw L&E practices just doing mega wage and hour class actions due to their size and fees, which is basically just straight up litigation? Would that lead to worse exit options than a more midsized firm like Seyfarth or Epstein that might have smaller cases and more counseling opportunities? Am I better off pursuing firms like that or should I go for the big players? If anyone has any insight that would be greatly appreciated.
