Thank you email for non-NY market with only 1 interviewer?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Aug 06, 2021 1:07 pm

I recently did a callback for a London SA role. I had a thoroughly engaging chat with a single partner and I felt I "clicked" well with them. I am now contemplating sending a thank you email, although judging by all the advice on this forum, I assume this is a bad idea. However, most of the advice on here is very NY-centric. Does anyone with any knowledge of the London market know whether it's a good idea for me to send that? I very much doubt there's "no downside" to sending it in some cases. I wouldn't want to bother the partner, for example, but I'm not sure if that's the attitude in London.
